We had our first wedding of the season in the Glen today.  It was a lovely day.  Rene had been cleaning and preparing the Glen all week.  We had three trees come down over the winter, which Bob the maintenance gentleman on property has hauled away as firewood for next season.   There is a little more light in the Glen now for ceremonies, but it is still very shaded.

The couple rented our urns and used Kimberly Ferns in them, which nicely accented the front of the Glen.  We brought the urns up to the front of Homewood after the ceremony to be enjoyed for the rest of the evening.

 

Simple and beautiful shades of light pink and ivory were used in the centerpieces (provided by Stacey at Bloom Room).  For favors, each place setting  had a pear candle in a delicate draw sack.

At the front door, there are new matching Italian pottery urns for greenery, and smaller urns with sand for smokers.
