    Highland Hospital

    Homewood at one time was the home of Dr. Robert S. Carroll, the medical director of Highland Hospital. 

    Click on Highland Hospital above and you get to see a brochure from 1943.  The hospital was run by Duke University and this brochure is from the archives of Duke.  Homewood is listed on page 13.

    Patients included, Zelda Fitgerald, and Barlow Bartok.
