We are fortunate to be in close proximity to downtown Asheville, but in an open setting in a Victorian Neighborhood. Homewood is rented as a special event location at an hourly rate. The hourly building rate varies, depending on the date. We base the estimate on a 6-hour time frame, and all of your rental items such as tables, chairs, linen, china, silverware and glassware are priced individually and separately from the building rate. We also have a large inventory of decor items available. We will customize your estimate to your needs when you visit.</p>

<p>If you are interested in having your ceremony with us, we have a lovely ceremony site in the wooded glen on our Homewood property. The outdoor ceremony fee is $1,500 (Saturday after Noon, $1200 (Saturdays before noon and Sundays or Fridays) or $750 (Monday - Thursday). This includes the delivery, set up and breakdown of up to 100 chairs, 1 hour of Rehearsal Time the day before, 3 hours of time in the Glen, Bridal room, Pedistals and Urns or Arbor or Columns. Homewood and Coleman Place can both host an indoor ceremony as well.</p>
<p>At either facility, you may provide your own alcohol. Beer and wine requires no special permitting; if you would like to serve mixed drinks a special occasion permit is required. We have the application for that permit and will be happy to pass that along to you</p>
<p><a href="http://www.mybelovedhomewood.com" target="_blank">Homewood </a>and <a href="http://www.mybelovedhomewood.com" target="_blank">Coleman Place</a> offer a choice of <a href="http://zillicoa.squarespace.com/caterers/">seven caterers</a> for your event. These caterers offer a wide range of menu options and pricing to meet various styles and budgets. As a resource in planning your event, we will also provide you with a list of our preferred vendors. These recommendations are for florists, cake bakers, photographers, musicians, DJs, wedding coordinators as well as transportation providers and area accommodations. Vendors on this list have been carefully selected based on our experience with them. We feel confident that you will receive excellent service, professionalism, and the highest qualify product. You are welcome to use these vendors, or provide your own (with exception of a caterer). At our initial meeting we will provide you with the password to access these resources online.</p>
<p>We would love to have you visit with us soon. We offer tours everyday of the week with the exception of Sunday and Tuesday, unless we have an event on one of those days. You can expect your visit to take about an hour. If you are interested in seeing both Homewood and Coleman Place, allow an hour and a half. When you visit, we will show you around our facility, talk about your event with you, and create a detailed estimate for you.</p>

<p>We have a great deal of window sill space at our venues, and utilizing the Decor Package is a great&nbsp;way to cost effectively take care of filling our&nbsp;mantles, window ledges and surface areas with lovely decorative items and candlelight. We also provide votive candlelight around your florists' centerpieces.</p>
<p>The Decor package includes fresh greenery, assorted accent pieces such as White and Ivory pottery and stoneware, glass pieces, and an abundance of&nbsp;candlelight displayed in candleholders of varying heights to create a warm, romantic glow throughout the space. The Decor Package includes the candles themselves, and we take care of all the decor set-up,&nbsp;as well as the lighting and extinguishing of the candles themselves.&nbsp;</p>

The busiest, and therefore costliest hotel rates are on Fridays and Saturdays. April through most of November is Asheville's busy season, with peaks from May to June, and again during foliage season --late September thru early November. <br /></p><p>A hotel will block up to 10 or 15 rooms for you, then add more as the first set of blocked rooms book.</p><p>Asheville has a wonderful Chamber of Commerce.&nbsp; The Conventions and Visitors Bureau offers a service to assist visitors with blocking rooms.&nbsp; Kinsey Norris is on staff there, and acts as liason between the guest and hotels.
