Welcome to our blog. We want to continually share thoughts and information with you about what is happening at Homewood, so that you can stay informed. Let us know if there are topics that you would like more information about. If you have specific questions about your function and we address the issue on our blog, we will always remove personal information and names from our reply. To protect the innocent ; )
Our intention at Homewood is to be in a continual growth process. This blog is one one way that we can share what we learn with you.

If we are not scheduled to be in the office at the time you wish to schedule your photo shoot, there will be a $60 per-hour charge. If we are in the office, and there are no conflicts with events, there will be no charge.
Homewood Keg Policy
If you would like to supply a keg, you must take responsibility for the keg and all of its parts. This includes the keg itself, ice, tap, and a container for the keg that does not create a hazard or a mess.
Kegs in containers that create condensation are not allowed on hardwood floors.
Kegs that are in a kegerator may be used on hardwood floors and in any area with access to an electrical outlet.
Kegs may not be left unattended; they are required, like all alcohol, to be served by a bartender.
Your or your designated representative must have the keg set up and ready to go at least one hour prior to the event start time.
Homewood does not supply staff or assistance with a keg.
You are responsible for the removal of the keg at the end of the event, unless otherwise previously arranged with Monroe or Julie.
We had a lovely wedding inside Homewood today. The service had a very inspirational section that I wanted to share with you.
Placed on each chair was a lovely, simple card with the layout of the ceremony. Resting on each card was a river stone. Near the beginning of the service, the officiant invited the guests one by one to bring their stone to the front and place it in a bowl in front of the bride and groom.
I watched from the back and saw that the Bride and Groom were able to see face to face each of the people who had traveled so far to witness this blessing of their love in marriage. It was a very meaningful moment for everyone in the room.
Here are some great website for calculating the amount of alcohol that you may need for your reception.
