Special Ceremony -by Monroe

We had a lovely wedding inside Homewood today. The service had a very inspirational section that I wanted to share with you.

Placed on each chair was a lovely, simple card with the layout of the ceremony. Resting on each card was a river stone. Near the beginning of the service, the officiant invited the guests one by one to bring their stone to the front and place it in a bowl in front of the bride and groom.

I watched from the back and saw that the Bride and Groom were able to see face to face each of the people who had traveled so far to witness this blessing of their love in marriage. It was a very meaningful moment for everyone in the room.
